Early Voting is just like voting on Election Day. Early voters privately mark and scan their ballot. Early voting results are counted, tabulated and included in (unofficial) election night totals.
Early Voting Locations
Voters may visit any of the assigned Early Voting Centers in their county (different rules apply for New York City).
For Primary, General, and Special elections, early voters are provided with nine days to vote in person prior to Election Day. Early voting dates and hours of operation are provided by local County Boards of Elections.
